Brenda is one of the Australian "Twelves" and will be a tutor at Be Creative by the Sea. You are invited to meet Brenda when she will be sharing a slideshow presentation of works from the Twelve by Twelve
Collaborative Art Quilt Project together with insights of her experience belonging to a dynamic,
international art community.
The Twelve by Twelve Collaborative Art Quilt Project is an international group made up of twelve
textile artists who have embarked on an art challenge together. The finished works, together with artist
statements, are showcased on their dedicated website gallery (www.twelveby12.org).
Twelve distinctive art quilt mosaics made up of a total of 144 works will be on exhibition in
Australia in 2010 as follows:

CONEMPOARY SOUTH AFRICAN QUILTS

Rosalie is a world renowned textile artist and tutor from South Africa. We feel privileged that Rosalie will spend six days tutoring at Be Creative.
Her presentation will take us on a creative journey and look at a large range of quilts made over the past few years.
